I love going for early morning walks at Avebury to watch the sun rise when no one else is there. This painting was inspired by one of my walks earlier this year with a frost on the ground and beautiful clear skies. I really wanted to capture the light and shadows created by the low sun streaming across the landscape.
Acrylic on stretched canvas, 16×12 inches. Unframed. After purchasing, please let me know if you would like me to paint the sides a neutral colour so that it can be hung as it is or whether you will take it to a framer for professional framing.
