Avebury Wheel of the Year
Giclée print available mounted or unmounted.
Avebury Wheel of the Year, Wiltshire
Giclée print made from an original painting of the wheel of the year inspired by the changing seasons in Avebury and featuring its four famous beech trees with their intertwining roots in the centre, each at a different time of year. In the background you can see the moon cove and one of the beech-topped barrows on the hills.
Also featured are eight seasonal festivals, called Sabbats, that track the changing seasons, agricultural milestones, and the balance between light and dark. Above each festival is a traditional symbol associated with it..
Available as a paper print to fit a 7×7-inch mount, either mounted or unmounted.
The paper print is on fine art paper. The image itself measures just under 7×7 inches and has an additional white border to facilitate mounting (see pictures for how it will look when mounted). The mounted print will fit a 9×9-inch frame.
Standalone print on wood potentially coming soon. Please get in touch if interested.
