This large piece was inspired by one of my many walks in West Woods near Marlborough, Wiltshire. It is such an amazing place at any time of year, but particularly when the bluebells are out. I always think the colours are at their best either in the early morning or in the evening as in this piece, when the sun is low in the sky and casts long shadows across the flowers while lighting up other patches.
Acrylic on stretched canvas, 30×24 inches. It has dark-green painted sides so it can be hung as it is, or can be taken to a framer of your choice for framing if preferred.
Available in the UK only due to size.
