Storm Clouds Over the Coves Stones, Avebury
This painting was inspired by a walk around Avebury last autumn, with some amazing cloud formations developing above the stones. Watercolour is a really fun medium for capturing the drama of the skies and often does it’s own thing. I was really pleased with how the sky turned out in this piece and I think I managed to capture the face in the stone too.
The image itself is standard size A4 (11.7×8.3 inches), with an additional narrow white border to facilitate mounting and framing (the border will be hidden behind a standard A4 mount once framed).
Also available mounted (overall dimensions 14×11 inches) or mounted and framed in the UK only. Choice of black, white or rustic wood effect frame. Overall dimensions including frame, approx. 16.5×13.5 inches.
