This small acrylic on stretched canvas was inspired by a recent visit to Silbury Hill, part of the wider Avebury landscape here in Wiltshire. It was just as the sun was setting and the sky was really beautiful, full of cirrus clouds that created a sort of tail effect above the sun. I couldn’t resist having a go at painting it.
Acrylic on stretched canvas, 10×8 inches. Framed in a solid wood, metallic iron effect frame. Framed dimensions just over 11×9 inches.
This painting can be collected from me in Calne free of charge or sent by Royal Mail within the UK (shipping cost £5.95).
